Revenants are another FromSoft Special - that is to say, they're brilliantly designed nightmare fuel that also happen to be supremely aggravating to deal with.

Revenants will burst out of the ground and start immediately screeching at you, and that's just the beginning. 

These many-limbed, spider-like aberrations are extremely adept combatants, per their fast movement speed, powerful attacks, and knack for combo-ing your ass to death. 

Oh, and they've got the irksome ability to teleport around in order to get the sneaky drop on you.

It's not an exaggeration to say that they're trickier to deal with than a good portion of Elden Ring's honest-to-God bosses.

Though you can use healing incantations to cut the Revenants down to size, you're probably better off just running away from the damn things and saving yourself the trouble - assuming you can escape their teleportation, of course.
