10 Most Anticipated 2013 Video Games That Are Still To Come

9. Remember Me

remember me I am going to be honest when I say that when I first heard of Remember Me, I absolutely thought it was going to be a bore. However after doing some digging up, I realised it was garnering a lot of attention for a game by Capcom that wasn't Resident Evil. And so, I did check it out...boy, was I not disappointed. Forget the trailer, just dive right into the gameplay video demo (below). If for some reason you feel compelled not to, let's just say Remember Me would be the product of Assassins Creed, Hitman and Watch Dogs, having a Ménage á trois. The setting is a futuristic Paris called Neo-Paris (no points for creativity there), in the year 2084. A corporation known as 'MEMORIZE' has invented a microchip to be implanted into brains, in which memories can be recorded, uploaded and shared through their 'Sensation engine' dubbed Sensen. The protagonists main storyline revolves her having her own memory erased, for unknown reasons, by her employers MEMORIZE. Now, she will use her highly tuned skills as a memory hunter to get back her memories and take down the very people she worked for. I know what you're thinking: 'Pppfftt...that was Jason Bourne's story.' Well yes technically speaking they do follow the same tangent but in any case, despite what might turn out to be a shitty plot, Remember Me does deserve some excitement. Rarely do you get to see a decent enough plot mixed with gameplay elements that make it oh so fun. So while the gameplay does seem to be slightly glitchy, and even though the plot may (or hopefully may not) fail, I think this one, is going to be a keeper. Remember Me is slated to be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PCs, in June 2013.
