Ruthlessness is the key word when it comes to the mercenary, criminal and leader of The Black Dragon criminal organization, Kano. Kano is a madman feared and respected in all of crimes inner circles. Having murdered Sonya Blade's partner; Kano entered the Shaolin tournament because he had heard that Shang Tsung's palace was filled with gold and riches which he intended to steal for his organization. The primary target for the US Special forces for many years; this maniac had the balls to talk himself into a role as weapons instructor for Shao Kahn's armies to avoid capture. During the invasion of Earthrealm, Kano survived being thrown off of a skyscraper by Sonia Blade to betray Sheeva in their plot to murder Shao Kahn then talked himself into becoming general of his armies. Kano watched from the shadows as The Deadly Alliance of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung defeated Shao Kahn then pledged his allegiance to them; only to be betrayed and handed over to his rivals in The Red Dragon organisation and experimented on. Still he survived and fought with the forces of darkness at the battle of Armageddon; Kano is nothing if not resilient and resourceful. What's your favourite character backstory?
