2. Go Out Science Kids
This couldve been a list solely of crazy Japanese covers but we thought wed just go for one of the best. This game, to give it its full English translation title: Fly Mr Science: Great Expedition of the Earth! Let's Fight Against the Mysterious and Strange Creatures, is for the Nintendo DS and for some reason never made it out of Japan. Based on a Japanese science TV show, this gem of a cover is splendidly bizarre. Two of the three characters appear to be properly dressed for some off-planet fun, with a couple of nice new space-suits which allow them to breathe some sweet oxygen while visiting the stars. And the other guy has no skin. Stranger still, the chap with exposed muscle and connective tissue is apparently in-charge of the outing, pointing out starts to the others. But if these two trust a man lacking an epidermis, then who are we to judge?
