10 Most Brilliantly OTT Sports Video Games Of All Time
7. FIFA Street 2
It really is a shame that soccer got the short straw when it came to these style games: only a handful of games were ever made that tried to mess with the formula, and only even a couple of them were good. FIFA Street 2 was fast paced and, as per usual, cut down on the amount of players on the field and was 4-on-4, with an updated trick system that enabled more off the wall tricks to get past the opposing player and score. While the game played more on flashy moves and not soccer at its foundation, defense in this game could become a little more than frustrating from time to time. However, if you're looking to play a soccer game where you can run up the score on the opposing team and dribble past them with slick moves, look no further. While RedCard by Midway was certainly more ridiculous, (going more the route of NFL Blitz and allowing more over-the-top gameplay) FIFA Street was just better as a gameplay experience. The street game was something that EA had previously done and done well. it truly is a shame that more soccer games weren't made though, because it would have been awesome to see a soccer game given the time and dedication that most games on this list were given.
