10 Most Dangerous Enemies In Enter The Gungeon

5. Mimic

There is nothing more dangerous, aside from the upcoming entries, than an enemy disguised as loot. It takes advantage of a player's naivety and sense of wonder and accomplishment.

Imagine this, you’ve just slogged through a dungeon filled with the deadliest of enemies, you have half a heart remaining and you’ve stumbled across a lone chest. “A boon,” you excitedly think to yourself as you rush over to it, key in hand, just to have that chest open up and try and eat you with razor sharp teeth and shoot you with lead lined bullets.

Unlike its Dungeons and Dragons twin, the rarer the chest the stronger it is. Meaning you can encounter a grand, red, A-tier chest, with the promise of high quality booty inside, just for it to attempt to eat your now crying face.

However, the Mimic, just like its D&D counterpart, is a monster that can disguise itself as a chest and other objects to lure in weary adventures so it can strike. Something never seen in D&D however is a mimic straight up disguising itself as an entire wall. They do that down here in the Gungeon.
