10 Most Difficult Decisions You Are Forced To Make In Mass Effect

2. Destroy The Geth Or Allow The Quarians To Die

Once again, Shepard is forced to bring yet another race to extinction. If specific conditions haven't been met, you may be unable to make peace between the geth and the quarians, forcing you to choose which race survives and which is eradicated. If you're attached to Tali and Legion, you're not gonna like this one. If the weight of bringing an entire people to annihilation wasn't bad enough, you have to deal with the consequences of losing a current or former member of your squad right in front of you. This is a much harder choice to make than choosing between saving Ashley or Kaiden, because in this scenario, you're choosing which of your friends to betray. If you destroy the geth, Legion will attempt to kill you before being put down by Tali. If you eradicate the quarians, Tali will commit suicide to join her entire species in complete annihilation after Legion sacrifices himself. Guess you should have invested in more alignment points.

Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
