10 Most Disappointing & Expensive Lego Video Game Characters To Unlock

8. Radagast The Brown - Lego The Lord Of The Rings

Cost: 500,000 Studs

Radagast the Brown has become one of the most hated Middle Earth characters since he appeared in the Hobbit movies. Because of this, it may appear baffling that he costs 500,000 studs. His portrayal in The Hobbit will likely make him the last character you buy in Lego The Lord of the Rings.

This might be true now, but at the time of the game's release, this price tag made slightly more sense.

Radagast the Brown isn't in The Hobbit book; he's mentioned but he's not actually in it. He is in The Lord of the Rings books, though, but was absent from the films. At the time of Lego The Lord of the Rings release, a few months before the release of the first The Hobbit movie, Radagast the Brown was simply a fun unlockable character that only people who read the books would know about. He wasn't a universally hated character yet.

Even with that in mind, he definitely isn’t worth 500,000 studs but it isn’t as much of a rip-off as it first seems.
