10 Most Disgusting Creatures In Fallout History

8. Wendigo

If you've never played Fallout 76, you may have never even heard of one of the most terrifying creatures in the series: The Wendigo.

These things have walked straight out of a horror movie into the lands of Appalachia. Their faces resemble skulls, they're horribly emaciated and their arms are elongated. Add on horrible wispy black hair, masses of jagged teeth and sharp claws and just for good measure they make horrible noises such as raspy breathing and scream to scare the wits out of you.

They're a force to be reckoned with too. The Wendigo is fast and agile, stalking towards you on its elongated arms and swiping away with its huge claws before you can react.

Fallout's lore about these monsters is sketchy. It's believed, but not confirmed, that the Wendigo is actually a human who resorted to cannibalism and likely through mutations and years of eating human flesh, the human evolved into something that was fitting for its despicable acts.

After some more nightmares? Try seeking out the unique variants of the Wendigo such as the horribly burnt Scorched Wendigo, or the radiation-infected variant the Glowing Wendigo.
