10 Most Disturbing Danganronpa Deaths

Spike Chunsoft promised a female protagonist for Danganronpa V3. However, they never said how long she would be the protagonist. Kaede is introduced in the prologue as being a proactive and determined main character, who willing takes the lead in trying to unite the group and prevent any murders.

However, she is soon tricked into panicking by Monokuma's threats to annihilate the group if a murder does not take place. This results in Kaede betraying the others, and trying to eliminate the mastermind using elaborate Rube Goldberg puzzle methods to end the killing game.

Kaede's hypocrisy leads to a brutal execution, where she is yanked away from from the group by a metal collar. This throttles her as two of the Monokubs use pulley ropes to drag her across a giant set of piano keys in direct reference to her ability as the Ultimate Pianist.

To add to her humiliation, Kaede is powerless to stop the Monokubs from making her butcher a beginner-level composition. The characters and player can only watch as Kaede is dragged around faster and faster, until finally she is suspended motionless above the keys. The spiked cover then slams shut and ends her performance as protagonist of Danganronpa V3.
