10 Most Disturbing Dark Souls Bosses

9. Demon Of Song

Dark Souls 2 Demon of Song

Congratulations, you've made it to the end of the Shrine Of Amana - one of the most frustrating and loathed areas in the entire series. Unfortunately, though, your ordeal isn't over yet as you're about to come face-to-face with the Demon Of Song.

A large, ghastly decaying face with protruding arms inside the carcass of a frog, this boss really is the stuff of nightmares. "Why is it inside a frog?", "How did it get there?", and "What does the rest of this thing look like?" are just some of the questions that seeing this boss raises. However, these questions are perhaps best left unanswered.

If you can stop gawking in terror at its creepy face, the fight itself is nowhere as scary. Just give its face a whack when it's not protected by the frog skin - a sight that's as unpleasant as it sounds.

Imprisoned in the shrine when it "developed a taste for human flesh", as outlined in its in-game description, this boss is as repulsive as it looks. Luring its prey into its lair with the soothing melody heard throughout the area, slaying this demon is a moral necessity.
