9. The Story Of Habd's Family - Frostflow Lighthouse
Located in between Dawnstar, Winterhold and the Sea of Ghosts, Frostflow Lighthouse is one of the most tragic and depressing locations in the entire game.
Adventurers who stumble upon the lighthouse will be greeted by the bloody sight of a dead woman and a Chaurus corpse. For those who have the stomach for it, the lower level of the lighthouse will spill out into a small series of tunnel networks infested by Chaurus and sickly Falmer. Delving deeper into the tunnels will reveal the gruesome fate of the woman's family at the hands of the creatures. Searching the Falmer camps will reveal the bodies of Mani and Sudi, as well as a collection of handwritten notes detailing their final moments.
The cavern's final room will reveal the family's killer, a huge Chaurus Reaper that still has the remains of the family's father, Habd, inside its stomach. By avenging the family and killing the creatures, players can take back Habd's remains and light the lighthouse's beacon, earning themselves the secret bonus of Sailor's Repose, an active effect that make healing effects 10% more effective.
