Got a Nintendo console? Get a Mario Kart game. Simple.

Ever since the first Super Mario Kart in '92, every Nintendo system has had one, and though the Switch's is an up-rezzed version of the Wii U's Mario Kart 8, it's easily the definitive edition.

Coming with all the advancements of MK8 in the first place (the 200cc speed class and Blue Shell-countering Super Horn, FINALLY!) we've got all that game's subsequent DLC, a gorgeous 60fps frame rate and an all-new revamped Battle Mode.

Speaking of DLC, that means Link riding a badass motorcycle-version of Epona joins the all-new Splatoon Inkling kids, complimenting the huge amount of tracks that make the package such great value for money. This is easily the best Mario Kart has ever been, and MK8 Deluxe makes even more sense on Switch once you start handing out segments of the Joy-Con for a quick head-to-head.
