Snipperclips may not be developed by Nintendo, but with its cutesy concept and pick up n' play mentality, you can see precisely why The Big N signed two-person dev team Adam and Tom Vian the second they saw the game in motion.

Playing as two pieces of paper, the basic premise is to overlay one another and 'cut' into specific shapes to complete a variety of puzzles. Think Scribblenauts, but where the solution isn't to think of the right word, but whatever implement you can slice yourself into.

Transport a basketball to a hoop with a 'cup', pop runaway balloons by tapering your 'character' into a giant spike - once you get your head around how the game wants you to think, this is one of the coolest and most innovative puzzle games in years.
