Despite the series going into its sixth instalment in eastern territories, this '0' iteration is actually a prequel; the first entry on PS4 in the west, and the perfect place to jump in and experience everything that makes the series tick.

Within minutes you'll go from stomping some randomly-encountered thug's face into the pavement, indulge in perhaps a spot of karaoke and a lengthy cutscene about honour, property management and extortion, before dusting yourself off for a few games of pool or a bottle of sake. It's all sublimely seamless, and with one of the best graphical presentations on PS4, every aspect of this 'high city life, low murky underworld' comes together perfectly.
