10 Most Evil A.I. In Video Game History

2. 343 Guilty Spark - Halo Series

343 Guilty Spark
Bungie

Something of an anti-Reaper entry on this list, 343 Guilty Spark doesn’t look so scary, but don’t let that fool you. He might be a charming little dude who makes you believe he’s on your side in the first Halo game but then it comes out that he has an ulterior motive.

What is that motive? Oh, just activating the Halo and killing off everything in its vicinity.

Even though he doesn’t pull it off, he does get up to plenty of shenanigans and troublemaking in multiple Halo titles. Though he is created from the consciousness of a man named Chakas after he was mortally wounded, this has given the AI extreme intellect and knowledge. Though many players quite liked him, it’s a little hard for us to forgive 343 Guilty Spark for attacking and killing Johnson.

Extremely uncool.
