10 Most Evil A.I. In Video Game History

4. John Henry Eden - Fallout 3

The Fallout series has no shortage of excellent villains and truly threatening AI antagonists but we’re giving the spotlight to John Henry Eden.

The president of the xenophobic and extremist Enclave which claims to be restoring the US government under its charismatic and patriotic leader, John Henry Eden and his organisation are not what they appear. It is revealed that he is, in fact, an advanced AI program whose goal is to release a deadly virus to “purify” the Wasteland.

"Purify", of course, meaning kill off everything in the vicinity.

Another evil AI favourite activity. Dispensing the Forced Evolutionary Virus is Eden’s priority and since this is Fallout you’ll have the choice to challenge his motivations, sabotage him, or work with him. Upon learning his persona is a facade and he’s hellbent against enslaving or destroying all mutated lifeforms, even the ones that aren’t so bad, he’s pretty hard to side with.

Unless you want to be a bad dude, in which you do you.
