10 Most Evil Choices In Video Games
4. Having Zaalbar Kill Mission - Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic
Set 4,000 years before the rise of the Galactic Empire, we are placed in the shoes of a young rebel who is fighting against the growing power of Darth Malak, a former Jedi turned to the dark side following his rise to power during the Mandalorian Wars.
Following Malak's attack on your Republic ship, you are forced to fight your way off of the soon-to-be-destroyed planet Taris. You gain many allies en route, including best friends Mission Vao (a Rutian Twi'lek) and Zaalbar (a Wookie).
After rescuing Jedi Knight Bastila Shan and beginning training to become a Jedi, the player's origin is revealed: you are Darth Revan, Darth Malak's former master, now brainwashed into serving the Jedi council. It is here that the player's alignment becomes vital.
Towards the end of the game you are presented with a choice: continue serving the Jedi or revert back to being a Sith Lord. Choosing the latter will cause many of your allies to turn on you, including Mission.
As Zaalbar owes the player a life debt (an extremely serious matter in Wookie culture) you can instruct the Wookie to betray and murder Mission, who will all the while scream 'no, please' and 'it's me, Big Z'.
A truly cruel act.
