Even by the woeful standards of billionaire venture capitalists, Devin Weston is an especially fiendish rogue.
Like so many of GTA's scummiest characters, Weston has an unfortunate habit of saying one thing before doing something else entirely. In the case of GTA V's three lead characters, the business tycoon promises to pay all three of them handsomely, before going out of his way to avoid doing just that.
In the case of Michael, Weston promises to set up a filmmaking opportunity with a top Vinewood producer. This quickly comes undone when Weston looks to axe it for a neat insurance payout. For Franklin and Trevor, meanwhile, the eyebrow-raising pay he owes them for a car theft gig instead goes towards investments in his own company.
Beyond the general shiftiness, Weston's also got a hand in seemingly every criminal enterprise in San Andreas, making him one of the area's most toxic and dangerous figures. To top it off, he's prepared to have the wives and children of potential foes killed just to make a statement. For players who pick the Option C ending in GTA V, Weston's demise via car-off-cliff is one of the most entertaining pay-offs the much-loved game has to offer.
