10 Most Hated Enemy Types In Gaming

So many games come bundled in with different mechanics and sliders that either help or hinder a player, usually depending on how their performing or how much progress they've made. Enemies start missing on purpose, start moving slower, hit for less damage - all some of the ways in which developers help make things easier on players.

But, what happens when they go in the opposite direction and push things too far?

Certain enemy types are programmed in such a way that they are far more efficient player-killing machines than they have any right to be.

In a game like Warframe, Liches and Corpus units have noticeably had their accuracy from all ranges and angles dramatically increased, their detection times reduced, and even acquired the ability to hit players when they're behind cover.

Not only can this lead to some pretty major issues when it comes to difficulty scaling, but it's a mechanic that is almost impossible to counter.

Cover can be bypassed, strafing or zig-zagging out of the line of fire can feel redundant when their bullets seem to just follow a player around, and the damage output/rate of fire these enemies operate with means a simple firefight isn't a viable option either.
