9. Mindy - Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Platinum

At least a bunch of the characters on this list do have the best of intentions. They’re trying to help you, just doing it in a painful way. Not Mindy though. Mindy is the freaking worst.

Not everyone is a big Pokemon fan so you may not have seen Mindy get much of a look in if you’ve seen lists similar to this one before. We’re going to fix that today and by the end of this entry, Pokemon fan or no, there’s a good chance you’ll consider joining the r/FuckMindy subreddit. That’s right, as far as I know the only character on this list to get on the bad side of so many gamers she’s got a 14 thousand member strong subreddit dedicated to hating her.

So what did Mindy do exactly? Well, she’s an NPC in Snowpoint City who offers to trade you a Haunter if you give her a Medicham.

For the uninitiated, Haunter evolves into Gengar by trade so that’s a pretty damn good deal. Except that when you go spend hours trying to catch her the Medicham and trade her for it she says, “Did my Haunter turn into something? Ha! Just kidding!”, and lets you know she has the Pokemon holding on to an Everstone which prevents it from evolving like it should.

I’m not 100% what words I can and can’t say on this channel yet but dick move, Mindy. Dick move.
