Whilst it’s probably not the future of fighting games, ARMS seems like a fun distraction from our every day, monotonous lives of not having giant colourful spring arms with which to do battle for sport and glory.
Players will take a hold of each the left and right Joy Con controllers and punch their way to victory. You can assume control over a number of different characters, each who have their own unique abilities and ways of attacking.
You’ll have to run, dodge, twist and jump your way around the arena to hit your opponent in fast paced, boxing style combat. It might just seem like a bit of silly fun at first, but we can only imagine that there’s a fair bit of depth here, and some players will be coming up with all sorts of new moves and techniques for some time to come.
