10 Most Iconic Street Fighter Special/Super Moves
5. Psycho Crusher
Used By: M. Bison
First Appearance: Street Fighter II
Input: Charge Back + Punch (Most Games), Heavy Punch + Heavy Kick (Street Fighter V)
The year is 1991. You are standing at an arcade machine for Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. You have defeated everyone on the roster, as well as the three boss characters: Balrog, Vega and Sagat, but all is not over. One final opponent stands between you and victory. M. Bison.
Bison has a variety of powerful attacks that use his Psycho Power, a purely evil, negative energy which he has at his command. None of these attacks are more deadly that the iconic ‘Psycho Crusher’, which you had better hope you were blocking unless you wanted to lose most of your health bar. When using this attack, Bison spirals through their air with his entire body pulsing with his Psycho Power, flying towards you like a bullet.
The Psycho Crusher is M. Bison’s signature attack. In both Street Fighter II and Street Fighter IV, it acts as a special attack Bison can throw out at any time. However, in Street Fighter Alpha, the Psycho Crusher is one of Bison’s Super Combos, requiring the use of the player's ‘Super Gauge’. In Street Fighter V, Bison can only use the attack during his ‘Psycho Nightmare’ V-Trigger; he also has access to the devastating ‘Ultimate Psycho Crusher’ as his Critical Art.
Just remember, the day that Bison defeats you with his Psycho Crusher might be the worst day of your life, but for him... it is Tuesday.
