10 Most Inappropriate Moments In Kingdom Hearts

7. Kingdom Hearts III - Sora Gives Up

Throughout the series, it has been established that whilst Sora may not be the most powerful Keyblade wielder, he is one of the most optimistic and is always determined to help others.

However, in the Keyblade Graveyard when his friends and allies - excluding Riku - are swept up by the Demon Tide, instead of being determined to try and save them, Sora simply gives up. Whilst Riku tries to hold back the Demon Tide, Sora continues to kneel on the ground and cry.

This initially contrasts with the portrayal of Sora in past games, where he refused to give up hope no matter how impossible a situation appeared to be. However, due to events taking a catastrophic turn, Sora is grieving for friends he thinks for certain are lost forever.

It shows how much stress and turmoil he has been able to handle because he had friends by his side. Sora literally sees his friends as the source of his power. He fights for no other reason. Despite this, Sora has demonstrated before that he can fight without their aid.

Eventually, he does continue to fight, but this moment demonstrated how that may not have been possible.
