4. Kingdom Hearts II - The End Of Roxas' Summer Vacation
Roxas is the Nobody of Sora created after the latter sacrificed himself in the original Kingdom Hearts game. He is also part of Organisation XIII. However, when he is first introduced at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II, neither he (nor the player) are aware of this information.
In fact, despite the unexpected shift in playing as a character other than Sora, Roxas seems like an ordinary young man trying to enjoy Summer with his friends in Twilight Town. Initially, the location seems stranger than the characters, as the group set out to explore various strange occurrences within the town, whilst earning ‘munny’.
However, once Roxas realises that the oddness of Twilight Town is due to it being a digital reality, it becomes apparent that he is as ordinary as he first appeared. Having lost his memories of being part of the Organisation and existing because of Sora, Roxas is soon informed that he will have to re-join with Sora. This means he may cease to exist as his own person.
Though Roxas resists at first, once he encounters Naminé (who is trying to restore Sora’s memories) he eventually realises that his Summer vacation is at an end.
