10 Most Incredible Vocal Tracks In Silent Hill History
9. Always On My Mind - Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Silent Hill and cover songs are a rather unrelated pair of thoughts, back in 2010 and beyond maybe. However, in 2011 Akira Yamaoka covered the 1972 song of the same name that was also covered by the likes of Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley.
Compared to most tracks within the series, this song has the most distinct and different sound of them all, somewhat sci-fi and yet the vocals stay within the same style, perhaps more chilling, though. The song is sung by one of the game's characters and also is heard on the car radio during a rather pivotal scene.
Judging by the lyrics, there are a lot of themes revolving around regret, love and lust that can tie to Harry Mason, his "wife" and his daughter depending on how your experience of Shattered Memories plays out.
"I'm so sorry, I was blind. You were always on my mind"
