10 Most INFURIATING Legend Of Zelda Dungeons

2. Death Mountain

Until Breath Of The Wild came along, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link was most likely the trickiest game in the franchise. It’s moments like Death Mountain that make the scale of difficulty particularly unfair and at times frustrating in this unique Zelda side scroller.

Death Mountain is one of the first dungeons you come across in the game, but if you’re expecting a gentle introduction to the new game, you can think again. This is nothing short of a gauntlet, a long and winding passageway full of seriously tough enemies.

In Breath Of The Wild you have the option of running away when you’re weak and defenseless and meeting tough foes. Here, you’ve got to grab your sword and soldier on if you want to get through the game.

At this point in the game you’ll have nothing especially useful in your arsenal, so you’re relying on your own ducking, dodging, and pattern recognition. It’s a brutal introduction to the game, but if you can conquer Death Mountain, then you’re probably laughing from there.
