10 Most Memorable GTA Missions: Ranked Worst To Best


1. Three Leaf Clover - GTA IV

There probably is no more universally beloved mission across all the Grand Theft Auto games than Three Leaf Clover from GTA IV, which lets you live out your fantasy of participating in a bank heist gone awry.

As Niko Bellic continues to leave his footprint into the criminal underworld of Liberty City, eventually he befriends a strong willed Irish fellow named Patrick McReary. After getting acquainted with him, eventually Patrick offers to include him in on a familial bank heist worth a lot of cash. As expected, things get a bit out of control, and you have to fight your way through streets, alleyways, and subways, with law enforcement hot on your tail.

It's a very gruelling, but also very entertaining, slog that tests your ability to handle yourself when the heat is on. It's easily the most memorable story mission in GTA IV; forcing you to use every weapon at your disposal, which is a blast. This mission was so well received, Rockstar used it as inspiration when conceiving GTA V.

So, while GTA V would go on to further perfect the heists that have helped advance the series to the next level, you can thank Three Leaf Clover for being the first, and thus, the most memorable and iconic.
