10 Most Modded Video Games Of All Time

8. Final Fantasy XIV

MMOs are not the first place most would turn to when looking for a vibrant modding community, but FFXIV actually has a rather sizable one for a genre of games that usually make it impossible to mod in any way.

While yes, they are technically considered prohibited by the devs, the community is really good at policing itself and making sure nothing too bad makes it far in the modding community. It's mainly cosmetic stuff, purely for the player's own benefit, as for obvious reasons, they cannot be seen by anyone else.

This entry is mainly here for your scribe's benefit, as I couldn't not mention an MMO that has an active and thriving modding community - something unheard of with other MMOs.

Sure, most of them are for stuff so not safe for work, it's not even safe within a 3-mile vicinity OF your work, but hey, internet's gonna internet. And it's not like any of the other entries on this list have any business to judge.
