It's hard to wrap your head around when playing it, but yes, there are improvements to be made to The Witcher 3, and the dedicated modding community for this game have seen to patching every tiny hole in this otherwise immaculate ship.

If you have an issue with this acclaimed RPG, then someone somewhere has made a mod for it, guaranteed. UI and HUD overhauls, balancing, bug fixed, it's all here alongside the usual stuff like new quests and characters.

While Half-Life is defined by its overhaul mods, Witcher 3's most famous mods are ones that tailor the gameplay to the implementor, fixing any issues they may have, or even adding onto what's already there like more gory kills, which is always nice. You can fast travel from anywhere in the world, enhance the visuals of the magic or climate effects, and even removing things like fall damage entirely.

You wouldn't think a game this solidly built would have much room for mods, but communities find a way.
