8. Lee's Ending - Tekken 5

Namco

Namco has never shied away from inserting silly humour into Tekken. Although the series has a dramatic story revolving around fighting demons and gods, you also have to occasionally battle kangaroos, dinosaurs, and Pac-Man.

However, the goofiest element of Tekken has to be the endings. Depending on who you win with, you may see your character transform into a bear, go into space, or complain about being killed off in the previous title.

But by winning Tekken 5 with Lee, you bear witness to the weirdest ending in the franchise. The scene begins with Lee being oiled up by a bikini-clad woman at a pool. The camera cuts to an individual wearing a thong walking up to Lee to ask if he wants a drink.

When the camera pans up, we see this thong-bearing individual is the eighty-year-old Heihachi.

However, this sequence is way weirder when you understand the context. Just before this scene, Lee killed Jinpachi Mishima - the father of Heihachi and the step-grandfather of Lee.

That's right - Lee is the adopted son of Heihachi! This means Lee turned his elderly stepdad into a butler-in-the-buff immediately after killing Heihachi's father. Even though this scene is pretty silly out of context, it becomes deeply disturbing when you understand the relationship between the characters.
