Skyward Sword may have divided Legend of Zelda fans but one part which was universally loved was the boss battle against the octople-armed automaton, Koloktos. Wielding eight steel scimitars, this ancient machine will make mincemeat of you if you're not careful.

To defeat Koloktos, you need to rip his arms off with your whip so he drops his sword, and then use his own blade to rip apart his core. This encounter is among the most memorable moments in the game due to Koloktos' imposing design and the innovative method needed to best him.

But another thing that makes this gigantic golem so memorable is his death cry. After being dealt the killing blow, Koloktos will roar and writhe in agony before bursting into a puff of smoke.

But just before he explodes, he looks right at the camera and makes a noise which resembles a little girl laughing.

Just to remind you - Koloktos is a robot. The only reason he would make such a creepy sound is because he was programmed to do so. As intimidating as this enemy is, the fact that he giggles like a child before dying is the scariest thing about him.
