10 Most Overlooked Video Games Of 2016
1. Abzu
If you’ve never heard of Abzu and don’t know what it is, I implore you to go and play it before you read on.
Set beneath the waves of the ocean, the game was developed by Matt Nava’s Giant Squid Studios. Nava was the art director behind Flower and Journey, and his influence in the creation of Abzu is clear in every single environment and every single animation.
I have never been so mesmerised by a game in my entire life. Yes it’s short and yes it’s linear, however, in the few hours that I played it, I completely forgot that I was playing a video game, and that’s perhaps the biggest compliment any adventure game can ask for.
