10 Most Paused Video Game Moments Ever

9. "Shake It, Baby" - Duke Nukem 3D

Back before the internet made everything instantly accessible at all times, video games like Duke Nukem 3D were fulfilling the noble role of providing the world with cheap, low-poly titillation.

Himself a walking cliche of masculine excess, Duke's first outing was full of gore, violence and, of course, "babes" - but it was one specific action which had everyone mashing the freeze-frame button on their TV back in the day.

Walking up to the strippers and hitting the action button would see Duke whip out a note and tell them to "shake it, baby", which would result in the sprites, well... doing just that.

It was all very PG-13, but you still wouldn't want anyone to walk in while it was on the TV.
