3. What's In The Tank? - Marvel's Spider-Man

Spider-Man PS4 Harry Osborn Venom OZ
Insomniac

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

While Marvel's latest Spider-Man game tells a pretty impressive self-contained story, it has one final post-credits stinger which sets up a sequel in a tantalising way. Showing Norman Osborn walking into a secret lab in his penthouse, he opens a previously-locked tank and is bathed in green. Every player at home is thinking the same thing: oh boy, here comes the Green Goblin.

However the game then cuts to what's actually in the tank: namely, Harry Osborn and the reality of his "Europe" trip. Undergoing medical experiments in order to treat a mysterious hereditary illness, Harry has been locked in this tank the whole time. However, the vines he's wrapped up in look suspiciously familiar, almost like the symbiote Venom suit.

The reveal happens so quick, especially after the brilliant Green Goblin fake out, that a screen-grab was necessary to properly process it, as everyone had to make sure that what they were actually seeing was Insomniac's new take on Venom.
