10 Most Severely Addictive Video Games Of The Last 10 Years

5. Fallout 4

Final Fantasy XIV
Bethesda

Fallout 4 seems tailor-made to be the most addictive Fallout game ever made, with details put in that appear specifically targeted at your scribe to get him hooked and never let go.

And uh, it worked. Flawlessly. I ain't proud.

From the weapon upgrades, to the settlement building, to the fun, wickedly smooth and responsive combat, Fallout 4 will eat up all of your free time if you let it. Even though you can only walk and fast travel to previously explored areas, exploring the massive open world of the Commonwealth never feels like a chore, but rather fun and atmospheric.

And like any self-respecting Bethesda game, the modding is where this game really grabs you by the brain. Because of the superior engine compared to 3 and New Vegas, the mods of Fallout 4 are phenomenal and are the true draw of this sequel. Is it the best Fallout game? Obviously not, are you kidding? But if I have to name the Fallout game I gave the most time to overall, it's 4.
