1. Batman: Arkham City - The Joker

I mean, thinking about killing the Joker, the nemesis of Batman and one of the most iconic villains in the history of comic books, movies, and video games was something unthinkable. At first we actually thought that he might actually be saved in the end, that in one way or the other he'll be fine or that he'll recover. But it turns out that he died, and it was all his fault. You've got to hand it to Rocksteady, they managed to pull this one off. His death was fitting for his character, and in a way you can say that it was a relief to Batman, he actually got rid of the Joker, he'll never do any more damage to anyone. Or at least, that is until the next entry on the Arkham series comes out (not the prequel, the one Rocksteady's working on) so I only hope that they know what they're doing and they actually find a good way to bring him back.
