While the story that happens to Desmond's ancestors it's a very interesting one and it's pretty much the core of each game, in a way you know what's going to happen in them, or at least you have a basic idea of what will happen. However when it comes to the events that happen in the "real world" of the game, you have no idea of what to expect. This one is a big example of that, nobody saw this one coming, and it wouldn't take until 2 years later to find out why Juno made you kill her. I mean, you knew something big would happen after you took the Apple of Eden, but not something like that. A crucial moment in Assassin's Creed history, and truly one of the most shocking ones in the whole saga. Let's hope that the new game has more twists and turns like this one.
