10 Most Underrated Batman Video Games You've Never Played

1. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

The first two Lego Batman games never quite lived up to their promise of introducing the rest of the DC Universe into the Lego franchise. However, the third game in the long-running series was finally able to pull this off, mixing up the standard Batman narratives by adding other signature DC heroes and villains into the fray.

But, while Lego Batman 3 isn't an exclusively Batman-centric, it's much better than some of the other games on this list, purely because it allows you to see how the superhero adapts to new enemies and situations.

We've seen the Dark Knight take on the likes of Mr. Freeze and Killer Croc countless times, and while all that good stuff can still be found here, there are just as many instances where you're playing as a Batman way out of his comfort zone, interacting with parts of the DC Universe he's barely accustomed to.

And of course, this is all done with the Lego franchise's signature humour and characterisation, making this universe-blending game an absolute joy to play for anyone with even with a remote interest in the Caped Crusader.
