6. Syringer - Fallout 4
On paper, the Syringer is one of the most intriguing weapons in Fallout 4 as it allows you to create an array of chemical weapons that have different effects on enemies. These range from paralyzing enemies, causing an enemy to frenzy and attack everyone around them or even cause them to spawn a Bloatfly upon their death.
Yet, while the effects of the Syringer ammo all sound fun and interesting, unfortunately, interesting doesn’t win firefights, and the Syringer, is like betting on a boxer with brittle bone issues aka a bad choice.
The ammo can be difficult to craft and, while some of the effects of the syringes can certainly be useful, there are much more efficient ways to take care of your enemies in Bethesda’s post-Nuclear wasteland. Therefore, the Syringer is little more than a novelty weapon that is only likely used for specific playthroughs where the player wants to force use of this weapon in the name of creating a unique challenge.
