10 Movies Based On Video Games That Misinterpreted Their Source

9. Bloodrayne

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSMS9IwtD3Y Bloodrayne wasn't exactly a good game, but it didn't deserve the mess that Uwe Boll turned the movie into. It's a hack 'n' slash game with a simple storyline, and one that wouldn't really make for a good movie anyway, but the when Uwe Boll got his hands on it he transformed it into one of the worst movies of all-time, though not nearly as bad as some of his other works. To say the film is loosely based on the game is to say that Call of Duty is a romance heavy RPG. Whilst we still have Rayne being a half-vampire looking for her father, Boll decided to fill in the rest of the story with whatever spewed out of his mind. Rather than killing Nazis as in the game, Boll sends us off in the other direction in what was supposed to be a tear-jerking story where Rayne discovers her father is none other than the vampire lord. I'm perfectly fine with some bad acting, but if you throw in Uwe Boll, cheesy one-liners and a movie that has close to nothing to do with the game than you've got... well, you've got every other Uwe Boll film ever made.
