1. Jet Set Radio Future
Now here's a game that wasn't played nearly as much as it should have been. Jet Set Radio Future is a sequel to the Dreamcast game Jet Set Radio (titled Jet Grind Radio in the original US release), which, after having played the PC version, I was not a fan of. However, JSRF on the other hand, is a fantastic game. The game is focused around the GGs, a group of roller-blading teenage freedom fighters struggling against the Rokaku Corp., a group that has taken over Tokyo, and looks to crush the GGs, and free speech in general. Yeah, okay, the concept sounds silly, but this is a remarkably fun game. To score points, you spray graffiti on various Rokaku advertisements and landmarks, and against other gangs, all while using the fast-paced, incredibly enjoyable skating mechanics. The skating flows wonderfully and does hold up for even a second, and the more tricks you can do, the fun it is. This isn't like one of those Tony Hawk games, though, the game does actually have a plot, and an intriguing one at that. With endlessly entertaining gameplay, hours of content, and an interesting story, Jet Set Radio Future is an obscure game you should really seek out. Seriously, it needs more people playing it. Jet Set Radio Future is only available on the original Xbox (compatible with the Xbox 360), and can be bought used from Amazon for around $12. However, it was originally bundled with Sega GT 2002 on one disc shipped with the original Xbox console. This disc can be bought used from Amazon for around $6, and is also compatible with the Xbox 360.
