10 Obscure Video Game Secrets That Took Years To Discover

3. Bald Bull - Mike Tyson's Punch Out

Punch-Out centred around pinpoint precision. Most of the later boss-fights were near impossible unless you mastered their ticks and the tiny visible clues that they offered.

One such fight was Bald Bull, who required the player to perfectly time a counter, otherwise, you would be one-shot.

This was the only reliable method, until a developer, years down the line, casually mentioned that if you timed your counter with a camera flash from the crowd, you'd be completely fine.

This, of course, trivialised the boss but is once again a big example of developers having to swoop in to notice what should be a noticeable visual clue.
