10 Obvious Video Game Traps You Definitely Fell For
9. The Curtain Call Trap - Fallout 4
In a weird turn of events, in order to recruit Strong - a super mutant with a penchant for Shakespeare - you are basically forced to fall for an obvious trap.
Because, when you get a distress signal from Rex Goodman, you sort of know you're in for a fight. Not with Rex, but rather with everyone in between you and Rex, as you're going to have to duke it out with every single super mutant in their base. Well, except one, as Strong himself is quite happy to become your pal if you help him and Goodman escape their capture by the other super mutants - and there's even a convenient elevator you can all use to escape!
As you might except, said open-side elevator is less convenient and more a total trap, which in retrospect is super obvious. And so the minute it begins to lower the super mutants begin to fire on you, likely while laughing amongst themselves about how gullible you are.
And if you don't have a gun to fire back, you are in for a bad time - or at least one where you're going to have to remember how to duck real fast.
