10 Other Fighting Games That Should Feature Wrestlers In Their Rosters
7. Dead or Alive
Dead or Alive is a series with a significant history. It features some of the most notorious female characters all of gaming, but has made some decisions that were definitely not the right call, such as making the breasts bouncier than a trampoline, or creating a few beach volleyball games strictly for fan service purposes. The series needs a bit of a change, and with the most recent release receiving mixed reviews, perhaps a good crossover is just what Koei-Tecmo needs.
The women of wrestling, having their own checkered history, are on a mission to make the mishaps of the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression's period a distant memory. Many of WWE's women could only add to the game by bringing in their hard hitting moves, like Charlotte's slams and submissions, Becky Lynch's strikes, or Asuka's green mist.
The additions don't have to even be kept to just WWE, as both Stardom and TJPW have casts that would go along just fine in the world of Dead or Alive, whether that's Maki Itoh's cute sass in her idol outfit, or the Tokyo Cyber Squad's gas masks and pink camouflage.
Since this is a Tecmo game, that always leaves the door open for Ryu Hyabusa , and the visual a female wrestler taking him down is too tantalizing to pass up.
