10 Other Fighting Games That Should Feature Wrestlers In Their Rosters

While games have featured crossovers and guest characters before, no series has made it as special as Nintendo has for their perennial killer-app, Super Smash Bros. Ever since first introducing the surprise reveals for Brawl in 2008 with Metal Gear Solid's Snake, and Sega's Sonic, Nintendo has consistently dared fans to think of impossible guests, and including them.

Nintendo would need some talents with a taste for the aerials, maybe even the flippies, for a game where avoiding gravity's clutches means life or death. The bastard PAC could make an excellent villainous addition while WWE's Ricochet could use the publicity after losing his push, maybe even the Bucks, working in tandem like the Ice Climbers. Few wrestlers though, fit better now than the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay.

Ospreay can take the skies as well as any of Nintendo's many brawlers, and his heart-stopping offense would be just as fun to employ as it always is to watch. In Japan Ospreay is at his hottest, gladly taking up Kenny Omega's mantle as the foreign face, and seems to be on the path to even greater things as he makes the transition to heavyweight.

Perhaps before taking another invitation to NJPW's grueling G1 tournament, Ospreay should consider getting an invitation to join Nintendo's Ultimate battle, bonus points if he brings his sword.
