The Crash Bandicoot franchise is pretty wacky as it is, but those lucky enough to own a Japanese version of Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back can uncover one of the most head-scratching Easter eggs in video game history.

When the PlayStation logo appears while starting the game up, press Left, Circle, L1, and R1, and you'll suddenly trigger a secret live-action video.

The two-and-a-half-minute sequence depicts a man in a Crash Bandicoot costume basically living his best life in Japan: dancing around levels, collecting apples, going on dates with women, getting sauced on "apple juice," riding a jet ski, and flying a jet pack, among other things.

Confirming how very Japanese the video is, it's also set to an infuriatingly catchy karaoke-style piece of J-pop that you won't be able to get out of your head for days.

There isn't really any point trying to explain this video, but it is sure is difficult to look away from.
