10 Outrageously Dirty Secrets You Won’t Believe Are Hidden In Children’s Games

7. Smurf Boobs €“ Smurfs: Rescue In Gargamel's Castle

We travel back even further for this next one, to a time when the Smurfs, that lovely little cartoon about bizarre blue people who lived in a little village with only one woman in it and somehow continued to multiply, was at the height of its popularity. As is the way with things, the popularity of a product in another form of media often leads to that media being adapted into a videogame, and the Smurfs have had many adventures over the years across many different platforms. The one we have to concern ourselves with is Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle. A version of this 'gem' - which apparently can be beaten in around four minutes (and you thought COD was short!) was released in 1982 for the ColecoVision, challenging players to jump over objects and save Smurfette from Gargamel who wanted to do nefarious things to the young blue lady. Funnily enough, due to a programming error on the part of whoever made this title, if you reach the area where Smurfette is, then leave back to the previous screen, Smurfette's dress will completely vanish, making the Smurf look topless. Yup, Smurf Boobs, right there. Programming error apparently. Yeah, right...
