10 Overlooked Video Games By Great Publishers

9. Power Stone - Capcom

The Warriors
Sega

Capcom has a bevy of hit franchises to their name - such as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Mega Man, and Devil May Cry - but you know one that never got its fair due? Power Stone.

Released in 1999 for the Dreamcast, the multiplayer fighting game was basically the console's answer to Super Smash Bros. - an absurdly enjoyable party brawler that benefitted from its simple control scheme and the genius hook of players collecting the titular gems in order to unleash the full extent of their powers.

2000's sequel Power Stone 2 was even better, beefing the multiplayer up from two players to four, yet in the near-quarter century since their release, both games have largely been forgotten by all but the most die-hard fans.

The games were ported to the PSP back in 2006, but feel long overdue for a port to modern systems with online functionality, if not a remake or even an outright sequel.

In Capcom's pantheon of banger properties, Power Stone deserves so, so much more respect.
