Although Baldur’s Gate 3 has been officially out for a few months now, Larian Studios keeps dropping new patches that fix the various bugs and exploits present throughout the game.

Luckily, they still haven’t gotten around to one of the oldest tricks in the book of a Baldur Gate 3’s exploiter—pickpocketing Withers.

Withers is the mysterious undead who hangs around your camp to revive your fallen companions, create new ones, and help them change their class.

His skills are incredibly useful, however, he also charges exorbitant prices for them.

Or does he?

Well, as it turns out, Withers, like any other character in the game, can be pickpocketed. The difference is that, unlike the other characters, Withers does nothing when he catches you stealing.

When you pay Withers money for his services, the gold remains in his pockets, so you can steal it all back from him and suffer no consequences when you occasionally fail.

Now you can die as much as you want, change your whole squad to monks and then druids, or fill it up with halfling barbarians, free of charge.

What good is money for reanimated corpses anyway?
